[ This morning, a seemingly small gift in a cloth bag tied with coloured string bears a tag with your name on it. Inside said bag is a metal door key, deep iron grey, with a small tag attached - directions to a location on the outskirts of the slums, where larger buildings can be found.
The directions in question bring you to one such building, L shaped and dark, not likely lived in as of late. Sturdy looking, with solid oak doors, but the windows are dusty and the roof looks like it's seen better days - and probably a few leaks. Walking to the front door presents you with a lock: one your key fits in. Pushing it inwards leads to a shadowed lobby, a bit dusty from disuse, but recent prints across the floor lead you to a table. With an envelope propped up against a rusted three-prong candelabra, the words "To My Family" scrawled in that same hand as on your key. ]

If we are to stay, then we need a home, and after looking for something that would suit all our needs, it is my hope that we could make this one ours here.
I found this place last month when on one of the mercenary jobs, and since then it's been on my mind constantly. I've not yet put ink to paper to formally sign the lease, but I have reserved first rights for us. I know this is no GreySkull Keep, with a bit of luck, hard work (and silver where necessary), we could make this house liveable. I've sketched the floor plans overleaf, please take a look around, and we can make a decision at dinner tonight. I have the silver saved (and yes, I absolutely haggled the price down given it's current state) but I'm not committing to anything if this doesn't work for us.

OOC: I may have had too much fun playing with Illwinter's Floorplan Generator and been seized by an idea for the long thought about Wyver home for Vox Machina. And of course, the linked plans are just Vex's example of how the spaces could be filled - definitely not a final design, this is very open to edits! (ICly, the house is mostly empty even of furniture, thanks to the previous tenants/owners being long long gone.)
