[ Keyleth highly suspects that Vex might be the only reason Percy hasn't shot Scanlan in the head. He was...really upset about the gun. Like. Really, really upset. ]

[ Keyleth hums a soft laugh, but it's a heavier thought than she lets on. Do they even know, really, how to live without each other? Really live? Keyleth isn't so sure anymore. And honestly, honestly she would be just fine with never ever finding out.
Maybe they won't have to. Maybe, because of the Storm, they avoided at least that one terrible thing. Maybe she'll never have to look at Vex without the other half of her in the world, maybe she'll never have to learn to live without her heart.
[ he can sense the heaviness, though he doesn't really know how to help her with it. instead of saying anything to try, he just pulls her a little closer, getting just a tad bit more comfortable before letting out a slow, easy breath. ]

[ Keyleth hums happily, because the idea of a nap--a nap with Vax--sounds absolutely delicious. She nods a little against his chest, lets him orient himself around her to get as comfortable as possible--press his face in her hair and breathe deep, like it's all he needs in the world.
She knows the feeling. This is the most comfortable and right she's felt in a long time. The safest she's felt in so long, to just closer her eyes, and drift. ]
